Just found out my father-in-law needs emergency heart surgery in Vietnam. My wife and I live in the states. We would use bitcoin anyways since wires are expensive and slow, especially to communist, state-run banks. On top of those challenges, today is President's Day in the United States. Banks are closed of course and a wire isn't even possible. So there's my use case. Can someone please tell main-stream finance for me.
