On a mini vacation, but stayed in this AM to get some work done to keep the @npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl v0.7.0 release moving forward! I'm one of the bottlenecks at this point so I gotta keep feeding our eager dev team with merge-ready PRs!

v0.7.0 is going to be a massive, massive step forward (even if most of the changes are invisible to the user)!

My PR just shaves a few secs off the app's startup time after the OS is already up.
