Greetings, nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq0m75ad8pc6wtlt67f6wjeug4hpqurc68842ve5ne47u9lkjqa0lqmnvyr8 nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq2xarqkrywfjvtf292ud6pdw2rtwgu8n9v43clqs4jckytgguwpzq8g7j7v . So, back in FSE, Pete showed me the HTML syntax I could use to format a post’s text, and I used it for years. There were limits to it. Putting

didn’t make text larger, for example.

Years later I saw the option for BBCode and I’ve been using it since I realised that was what we used on forums back in the day. However, just like HTML, it’s kind of cumbersome.

I’m now looking into Markdown, which seems much simpler to use but just as rich. Does anyone know what can be done with it in a post? All the “characters” we can use to format text in every way possible, that is.

Also, do formatted posts appear as such in other instances or is that something that must be implemented on each instance like the custom emoji reactions?
