I don't understand these heat maps. What are they showing?

But I still don't get, what I'm seeing. I have read a little bit about heatmaps, but I don't get what they're telling me.
I think, the brighter the colour, the more liquidations?
So in this picture, there are very few at the moment?
But this only relates to leveraged bets on the price, right?
So, what would I use the information given by this picture for?
