1. Alright folks, I’ve deleted all my videos on TikTok before the ban and I’ll be departing from interacting with Latino audiences on platforms like Reels or TikTok.

Most tech influencers will probably move to X, because that’s where most software engineers and investors that don’t make lifestyle content post.

I’ll be on this somewhat underground network called nostr. Why?

2. Well I have finished most of my work. I can keep my business running for a few years without any pressure and I’ve kinda lost interest in trying to influence people that are more or less unserious about positive influence.

I’d rather have 200 followers on a network that isn’t driven by algorithms and views, where most people are focused on the same goals, rather than 100,000+ folks that, for the most part, seek to be entertained and have no real desire to work together.

3. So I’ll be on nostr, which is much more aligned with what I believe. I believe it’s important to make the internet work the right way.

The main experience wasn’t supposed to be driven by investors, advertisers and algorithms. That’s a very recent thing and there’s a point where many people know nothing else other than that.

Such an internet incentivizes really poor behaviors, which I’d prefer to distance myself from at this stage in my life.

If you’d like to stay in touch, I’ll be on Instagram every now and then, but I’d much rather you join me on Patreon. Or if you’re brave enough, give nostr a try and spend more time around folks that are serious about what they practice and preach.

Farewell!
