I’m not sure this is a good forum for this, but I’ll ask anyway. I’m soon to be 57 and I’m noodling with the idea of learning the violin. Not because I think I’ll be good or anything, but because it seems like an interesting distraction. This is my question. What is a reasonable amount to pay for a violin so that you don’t quit because it sucks? What’s the cheapest thing I can buy and still learn? Be honest. #Violin
