So I'm torn about leaving X and going all in on Nostr...
1. X is a huge time sink and I know it would probably do me good to sever ties.
2. X still has a huge amount of people who no nothing about bitcoin or are being fed misinformation - shouldn't we stick around to help them out?
3. Nostr is still heavily bitcoin centric - at least in my feed.
What to do?
Do what you feel, man. X is raggedy these days, but it has its redeeming moments. And Nostr is nowhere near ready to replace it.
Thanks for the input. The “For You” feed has become quite troubling with lots of unrest and pretty horrible images.
I did sign up to Mastodon a while ago but have not been there a lot. On checking today, I see lots of old familiar faces.
So I think I will leave X and start using Nostr for my bitcoin fix of information and Mastodon to hang out with old friends.
