Matias Desmet made a crucial point that for Mass Formation to be effective, the propaganda needs to be not only untrue, but OBVIOUSLY untrue, so that anyone holding those views is not merely mistaken, but deliberately contradicting the truth in order to Virtue Signal their allegiance to The Current Thing

Oh I forgot one very important detail: Desmet asserts that beyond merely being illogical and clearly incorrect, the Mass Formation requires the Virtue Signalling belief system to require an individual to SACRIFICE to The Current Thing.
