Right. You can simultaneously dislike the state and also compromise on a better mid-term solution. They’re not mutually exclusive.

The Overton window must shift.

I think the opportunity exists right now for that shift to move in favor of bitcoin adoption, but I also think it’s possible to overshoot how much of a shift is possible right now. On an individual level we can adopt bitcoin much more quickly than institutions, corporations, governments, or society at large can. That kind of shift will take time, no matter how much some individuals may want or even demand otherwise, and having services like Strike, Cashapp, etc, that serve as bridges between fiat and bitcoin is absolutely necessary to make that shift possible on a larger societal scale.

Incentives and removal of friction are the keys. We can show people better ways.
