nostr is about to hit the mainstream. why? because governments are all starting to do things that are the reason why we have been building - trying to stop people from communicating with each other.
it's gonna lead to other things too, because they will then resort to forcing google and apple to comply with their rules and put up roadblocks against people installing these "unauthorized" open protocol apps - anyone who is handy with SoCs and custom builders next will be creating degoogled android mobile devices for people to use, and even if they try to fuck around by making the mobile network providers fuck with us, we'll just switch to wifi and bluetooth mesh networks that will opportunistically find connectivity to nostr relays, and those relays will start to do more and more of the kind of replica/spider/distribution protocols like the one i'm building right now and keep the information flowing despite all of their attempts to stop it.
