Ordinals is a novel invention that was able to capitalize on get-rich-quick gamblers from the “web 3.0 / NFT / crypto” crowd.
It grew on Bitcoin like a vine grows on a tree. Some people confuse the vine as part of the tree. I hope that it dies off and isn’t even a thing one day.
I feel like people would care a lot less if it’s wasn’t on Layer 1 (The Tree) causing congestion.
There is an obvious correlation with the fiat minds who yell “it’s good for adoption” and those who attempt to profit from it.
