Ironically, in highschool I had a substitute teacher that introduced herself "hello I'm miss Scalinos. Which means Fancypants in Italian, you see... Before my great grandpa came to Ellis island he was *name redacted mostly because I forgot* Papadopoulos which means "put on your Sunday best" but the officer signing names and passports couldn't work it so we changed it to Scalinos which means "Fancypants".
