My grandfather was a WW2 navigator and still knew Morse code forward and backwards until the day he died. He used to teach it to me late at night when everyone was asleep. I still remember the basics.

My Aunt taught me the RAF phonetic alphabet, she was an engine fitter on Wellington Bombers.

Still know it today.
