Yeh when only those who work get the right to vote then that system makes sense.
When you let unemployed immigrants, people on benefits and unemployed socialists vote you get what we have today.
There are MANY people who’s been waked up by the many previously banned medicallly dissenting doctors; the free speech about the Biden crime family; the empowerment of the pronuclear, pro fossil fuel voices; the non crack down on those who expose the #climatescam, the #covidvaccinescam
This would have not been possible without someone brave and powerful like Elon Musk; Jack Dorsey certainly wasn’t able, regardless of he was willing or not.
Nostr is in this perspective irrelevant for now. But in the long run very important.
The same people who were awake were already awake.
The same people who were asleep are still in denial.
Maybe a few have had the veil lifted but only because they finally be personally affected by it.
There is a lot value in realising that You’re not alone with your awakeness. Twitter provides that nowadays, which it didn’t during Jack’s tenure
Did you ever read this exchange between Elon musk and jack dorsey over the twitter files. I am not defending jack but he has been a man of integrity ever since he left Twitter. But I ain’t just going to blindly trust him. Nostr is a free speech protocol based on the relay/client model dynamics. Even jack wanted to own nostr he literally can’t.
