People keep blaming Carney now. It’s at least the entire west. Makes no difference who is installed.

To get temp residency is easy. Criminal check and choose a visa (nomad, pensioner , entrepreneur etc). Gotta live here 8 months a year for the first couple of years and I think less by 3rd or 4th yr. After 5 years you’re a citizen. Somebody told me they heard a rumour that the 5 year residency will be scrapped and might become much shorter. Just a rumour though.
