feeding them corn i suppose

better than nothing i guess if the corn is actually not GMO

I've been trying to source good feed, no mills near here make it. I had to get the feed they have custom mixed just to have a soy free feed.

i have these memories of escaping bulgaria into romania and seeing so many corncobs stacked up that seemed to be something to do with local agriculture and i decided it must be to feed to pigs, because in bulgaria and romania, pigs are the staple meat animal

i saw a lot of corn in slovenia too, even ate a bunch of the not quite dried out cobs when i was starving as i ascended the nanos plateau

probably saved my life, when i went back down and got severely fatigued while temps were super low

Actually most of their feed is oats. But since I don't want soy, they use dried distillers grains for my protein. Ideally, it's just all the black walnuts from around here, but they can't eat them until they're several months old, I'd be surprised if they can eat them at 6 months old.
