Guess who's back in the saddle!
After 10 years of abstinence my old life finally caught up with me....

Gives me hope. I had 17 mostly good, interesting years with my OTTB and still miss the old rascal. I keep thinking about riding again but the expense and my standards of what I want to do, along with how development around here has eaten up open land for riding- convinces me to postpone it.
I thought my horse chapter in life had positively closed 10 years ago with the arrival of our first child. And I wasn't sad about it. It felt right.
But recently both of my kids caught the horse bug... And now I'm back - and that feels right, too.
