I was wondering the same. I think snort.social added the code to get relays from Nos2x
I also created a feature request for Nos2x-fox to add/fork the preferred relays options for Firefox users Incase clients utilize it https://github.com/diegogurpegui/nos2x-fox/issues/4

A fix was added to it by #[4] today to resolve the login issue that I was facing with Nos2x-fox because it required the relay list using window.nostr. Now it's conditional to check if it's there, and only then sets the relays.
