It'll let me upload from any other folder on my phone...except for the camera roll....

Hmm maybe a lesser bug, I mostly upload from my camera roll without issues, only when Amethyst starts to 🪲

Did you try to move the photo to another folder?

You need to resize to 20%

I had the same problem, all I need to do is edit my photos, resize to 20%, voila photos upload.
