i found the first one to be a great theatre experience, the second one lost its visual awe a bit since it wasnt new but still decent. the story is very dumbed down compared to books but i understand they had to make compromises. so, part 1 is a good movie if seen in theatres..especially for one that has read the book and just wants to see a cinematically impressive interpretation of the world 🤙
