I don't think so, have you heard of insurgency math? I think that is an effective form of accelerationism.

There is 1% freedom fighters in the US. They lock the country down for Covid. Most people show their hands and are sheep, but many wake up. Now there are 2%

People need to be shaken to actually wake up and do something.

And tbh my vote doesn't count anyway(Wyoming) so I don't really have a dog in this fight.

If people get woken up by trauma then so be it but I’m certainly not going to root for it. I have children and I’d like to avoid mass chaos whenever possible.
