Hubby went into town alone today as I stayed home working on our audiobook.
I tried to do the wifely thing by having food ready when he got home, except he was already halfway home when he said he was coming home, so i saw the headlights before I'd even started 😅🤣

Yes, kids grow up way too fast. Can’t say that enough, either.
Well, he didn't tell me details since he had no expectations.
With kids though, if they wanna come home for dinner or not, that needs to be communicated, or they'll show up a little late and need to still fend for themselves.
