The good news is that the Supreme Court appears to agree that this shit is unconstitutional.

The Trump administration is trying to become an autocracy, but our courts are preventing it so far.

As long as the administration does not remove power from the court, the Republic will hold up.

If the court falls, We have a bigger problem, but I think there is less than a 30% chance of that happening within the next 4 years.

Sorry about confusing the issue with sats. I was trying to be silly, but failed. 🀣

And the Supreme Court has exactly zero ability to stop it. A ruling means nothing. Trump controls the guns. He's already been acting in defiance of many court rulings. Last time in office, 'take the guns first due process later'. Now all this. He showed us exactly what he is more than happy to do to Americans with HIS covid policies. He still brags about all of that as well. No worries about the sats thing. I missed the humor part😞

I don't disagree with you.

Im not even so much worried that this will be taken to its logical conclusion anytime soon. What troubles me is far too many either dont even know shit like this is being considered openly, dont care enough to be bothered to speak out, or the worst part, support it. After J6, how anyone on the 'right' can support the exact tactics that was used on the protesters is beyond me. And heaven forbid they think ahead to what the next Dem admin might use these new 'powers' for. Tyrants dont worry me. The silent cowards and the supporters of it do.
