The parent is expected to provide the child with a Disney gift card I assume.
I also wonder who leaves their child alone at that young of an age at Disneyland. I'm Gen X and I had a debit card at like 12 years old.

Always cash.
I mostly used cash too, but the debit card was a fixture since I can remember. I got one with my first bank account, it was the main way to get cash, through ATMs. Debit at the till has been common since the late 80s/early 90s, here anyways.
