Not absolutely; all people have free will. Our actions influence people to various extents. Anakin obviously had an anger problem, but Palpatine drew him to the dark side.

Sadly, not everyone recognised that they have "free will" becauee it means they are responsible of their own action and no one else. This can be painful to others or to bear especially if they hated the outcome of their choices or what they become after the fact. 🤓👌
