I hope the governments tries to ban nostr.
It will be like what happened in China when the CCP tried banning bitcoin mining.
What doesn’t kill Bitcoin + Nostr will only make it stronger and increase further adoption.

A ban probably wouldn’t make a dent since there isn’t a price chart tied to human emotions.
Well yes and no. They could blacklist DNS public relays and this could be really annoying for the average user.
