⚡️🇪🇺 NEW - NO MORE LIFETIME DRIVER'S LICENSES! From now on, driver's licenses will have to be renewed every 15 years; this renewal may be accompanied by a mandatory medical examination to confirm its validity, depending on each country's decision.

The rule is expected to come into effect within three years.

And remember, this is just the beginning:

➡️ centralized driver database,

➡️ limited validity of licenses,

➡️ possibility of automatic suspension in the event of health problems.

All this in the name of security, of course…

But behind this facade lies another layer of administrative control, one step closer to a permanently licensed society.

You no longer drive freely: you drive with temporary authorization from the state.

A similar system exists in Canada where a medical condition will automatically cause a suspension of a driver’s license, It happened to an elderly family member. I disagreed as she only drove in a small community and during good conditions.

Also, aren’t we all supposed to be riding in self driving cars in 15 years? I get the medical condition, but every 15 years is a silly idea.
