Just spitballing: Major private banks will run the cbdc. Once the dollar fails, no one will trust the fed. So they will create a “cbdc” through the major banks.

It is a big win for the republicans. “We saved you from cbdc” but only for something worse to come about. It’s all a farse.

When the dollar collapses, we will need saviors. All politicians will be like “why did the federal reserve deceive us all?” And a new era will begin.

Based on that, this bill means absolutely nothing to me. Seeing people celebrating it is very very short sighted.
