I agree with you. All of this trouble for non-idiomatic "Either" types 😂. Seriously now, I'm sad that Scala has lost momentum, but in a way it's good that we are past the hype. This is annedoctal but I found joy working in simple / "back to basics" Scala 3 codebases with Pekko, Spark, etc. I was starting to be alergic to the insane Zio + 14 different functional frameworks stacks. Nothing against Zio nor the other libraries / framworks, is just that most Scala projects that I had to deal with over the past 3 years where introducing complexity for the sake of complexity and self-amusing.
