I was always convinced that anarcho-capitalism just meant capitalism. Now it’s glaringly clear.

As soon as it is attractive enough to be put on a t-shirt it gets sucked into the machine to churn out profit.
What exactly?
And you're saying that's a bad thing?
I‘m saying capitalists are co-opting the word anarchism.
I guess I don't understand what that means. Because capitalism is an economic system and anarchy is a government system. To me that is like saying tech nerds are co-opting coffee, well yeah, cuz they have to drink something. Capitalists have have some government system they advocate for, so I don't know why your taking issue with them also being anarchists.
Because capitalism implies (potentially unjustified) hierarchy while anarchism is defined by rejecting unjustified hierarchy. It’s an oxymoron
Sounds like you need a qualifying word before capitalism then. Because pure capitalism does create a merit based hierarchy. Once you introduce nepotism or rent seeking behaviors you're veering off the idea of capitalism.
I hope you're not implying that anarcho-capitalism itself is an oxymoron.
Same as meritocracy and capitalism. In capitalism position in hierarchy is determined by wealth, that does not imply merit.
