Yeah, it’s very controversial.

I think they’ve had it for a few years now.

In reality nobody really uses it to check their neighbours as they can see you checking them, but everyone looks up the rich and famous, and of course… politicians.

I don’t know if “surveillance” is the right word? As it’s the default that every government has full sight of every tax return. They aren’t doing any extra surveillance at all, they are doing extra publishing.

This is extreme transparency.
