For academic theology resources that are accessible for non-academics I actually really like a lot of Bart Ehrmanโ€™s content (large YouTube/podcast presence) heโ€™s exvangelical agnostic so some people dislike him but I think heโ€™s pleasant

and I like going to various divinity programs for universities and seeing what content they offer accessible to non academics like this is Yale Divinity YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@yaledivinityschool you can find lots of stuff like that

Then thereโ€™s classes offered to non academics by seminaries like Saint Vladimirโ€™s theological seminary in the US has these https://www.online.svots.edu/archives

I think you could ask AI various prompts about theological books and get a decent list from that too tbh but maybe would start off reaching out to these programs or checking out other sources first and then doing some AI promoting idk tho do whatever you want ๐Ÿ˜‚

thank you:)

these are great suggestions. I was hoping someone knew a site that has people leak the course syllabuses and reading lists for courses to people outside of their intranets and whatnot.

I think every divinity student/teacher I have ever emailed has sent me whatever I asked about except for one time where I didnโ€™t get a response at all lol.

Definitely worth it to send an email saying โ€œhi I was wondering if you could tell me the reading listโ€ imo
