Litecoin is almost as old as Bitcoin and it sticks around. but it's much cheaper for transfers than Bitcoin or Ethereum are, so it's handy.

I always use LTC for paying out bets when me and the boys play poker, low tx fees make it well-suited.
Only handy when interfacing with exchanges, and even then, Bitcoin fees are very reasonable and there’s really no reason to use Litecoin. Doing dollar/Bitcoin conversions is already enough work, no need to complicate with dollar/litecoin/Bitcoin
After Bitcoin, Litecoin was always my go to favourite blockchain. In theory I like Monero more but I've used litecoin and yeah.
But Lightning changed the game TBH.
Although, settling on a L1 always feel most satisfying.
