AI + ads = internet is a digital blackhole of nothing inflated

It's so, so bad.

It’s massive ads. It makes most websites unusable or unreadable.

That’s why I always use Brave or an ad blocker.

It’s awful UX for end users … but (along with web trackers) means that we get to consume other people’s content “for free”. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Selling ad space and user data is the only way businesses know how to operate on the internet. 🤔

It's not just annoying, it's dangerous. There are tons of adds that try to blend in with content to trick people into clicking them and buying things, thinking it's part of the site they were using. There are also many adds that contain malware. Ad networks are terrible about protecting users and policing ad content. Browsing without adblockers is just too dangerous these days.

The Internet is Dead. Get away from browsers/websites. Use #foss apps only.
