USD or any fiat for that matter is not designed to retain value .. I mean 2 % inflation is right there in the charter ..

The purpose of fiat is to exchange the assets .. and collect taxes .. besides being able to provide a least volatile price for the bread basket ..

Can you do that with #bitcoin ? Or #monero ? Whichever is your rabbit hole :-)
