Prediction markets are pretty fun, but I wonder if insider trading laws are going to catch up to them. It's too much money for regulators to just ignore.

Is that a prediction? Where can I bet on that? ๐Ÿคฃ

Its actually a good thing to make insider information publicly available .. with them (insiders) putting their own skin in bets .. because no insider knows the future ..

agree ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿซก

Yes - more liquidity xD

Prediction markets aren't only fun, they are also a valuable and efficient way for aggregating knowledge of the crowds. With huge rewards for the correct outliers.

I think crypto will help us do this on a larger scale in the future. It seems like this kind of information quality they can supply would be valuable for governments as well.

Open information markets are second most needed thing by humanity (after bitcoin)

Crypto is needed to keep them truly open, so Amen to that ^^

Can you name a good one? I want to have a look

Iโ€™ve been trying polymarket and some of the predictions are on the head

insider trading will ultimately just be public information brought to the market sooner than normal using prediction markets. I have no problem with someone having insider information and taking that information to prediction markets.

By doing so they ultimately bring truth to the market, and get paid to do it by betting towards what they know. Prediction markets incentivize market participants to tell the truth to the market. Whoever tells the truth gets rewarded.

This is just my working thought, I could be totally off here.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
