MS interest will always be to support his huge Bitcoin bag, that being said, by doing so, he had become a major influencer in the arena. His stand related to self custody and now the proof of reserves is a clear indication of where he stands, slowly but surely leaning more and more towards the monetary side and away from the Bitcoin ethos. This should be, IMO, to the surprise of very few.
