I packed the hole with some tasty treats that would have been absorbed into the foam so they'll have to eat their way through them, but if they get out in the next few days I will take your advice on board. Never had a problem with them before, but I noticed a bunch of vents at the back of the building were missing after I heard them scratching around up there.
