Nice pull. Was wondering about this very thing recently. Had only seen that other chart tracking the wild volatility as things melted up

I might just mirror the Weimar chart. With BRICs loading up on gold and dumping US treasuries, things are going to get wild

Wild is great (so long as it makes me rich)!

Bitty will save us big time

It was created just for this very exact time and reason

Have you read when money dies? Highly recommend

Yessir. Audio. And some of the inconsistent currency conversions he'd recite were a nightmare, but it was otherwise worth reading. It'd be cool to read another book from that time and place.

Try this one: Fiat Money Inflation in France

No audio, but cheap on Mises website. Into looks interesting

France tries fiat brrrrr in the 1700s; fails most miserably lol

Haha figured. You've read it I assume? I like how old it is...

Yea, I've read the first half of it. Need to finish it lol

It's written in beautiful old English. Really dig it

Not necessarily a bad sign. Been doing that with a lot of good books these days.

Cool, it's on the maybe list

I'm so bad at it. I just can't get pass the first half 😫

It's sometimes enough. For example, the original book we were talking about, think it's worth reading partially. Whole thing, meh, not necessary

I do that with most books 🤪🤪🤪

Novels or Fiction being an exception such as Frankenstein for example

I read Mary Shelly's Frankenstein in HS. Can't remember a single thing about it lol. Assume it's good

One of the best
