Not really, that relay could be yours and could take care of that censorship resistance for you by connecting to other relays owned by your contacts (two way syncing and streaming). Ultimately, you only need to connect to it (redundancy would also help still though).

If itā€™s your relay, unless you are using Tor to connect to your friendā€™s relays, canā€™t it be traced back to you? I guess adding a hop is better than nothing?

Yeah, not much more than could be found via `kind 3` (follow list) and `kind 10002` (relay meta), that are known anyways.

Private lists may help also in that regard.

And yup, VPN, Tor, reverse proxies can all help with IP address tracking for the private relay and clients.
