I first became aware of #nostr about 3 months ago.

Someone on #mastodon alerted me to it and were not particularly complementary about it.

But I liked that idea that it was / is truly decentralised. I didn't know a massive amount about Bitcoin - and am still a novice - but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were more like-minded people here on Nostr, than I'd found on the #fediverse (which, TBH, I was beginning to tire of a bit) or any other social media network I've been a part of.

It's early days, but I'm liking the overall vibe. :)
