Even the sign up is easier, you don’t have to add an email or phone number then confirm identity etc

This 👆is something I do A LOT less on other websites and apps since joining #Nostr! If I have to sign up, I have to want it pretty badly to do so.

Same I have no idea what I'm doing most of time but this just works for me.

I would say just lazy to try.

Why should we lower our expectations to being similar to legacy social media? That stuff is actually really bad. We should be aiming to being much better than they are.

The goal should be to build something much better, for a tiny fraction of the cost, with less spam and scamming, and no censorship. And to make it all open-source and self-hostable, and interoperable.
