When I was a child, I would drag out books I enjoyed so they wouldn't be over. Maybe some of that carried over into adult life 😁

I like it that way. Like you say, if you're enjoying a book, it's no bad thing if it keeps going - I want to KEEP enjoying it as long as possible.

I can't read a novella in a day unless it's like, all I do. But I wouldn't want to. Sad times for a whole book to be gone in just a few hours.

I don't think I could skim a novel if I wanted to, but I don't.
