You know that it's not that hard to replace screens?

230 for a new screen is more or less the Bitcoin I had on there. Probably just buy and replace and the other goes in the pot

Yeah - I wasn't going to assume how much you were exposed for.

You'll probably need to replace the device anyway.

Maybe don't throw the old device out, it may make sense to try & revive it later. It could be a fun exercise.
