What makes it worse is that 95% of the people have no idea of what goes on behind it.

I always tell friends, if the amazon delivery guy started asking you questions like: what time were you using your computer last week, what model is your computer, did you search for anything else in Amazon or any other site, how long did you look for these products, did you speak about it with anyone, how old are you, etc etc etc

how long would it take before you would tell him to f*** off? not long...

online it happens 10x worse and people don't even think about it.

How can we fix this?
