Am I being unreasonable to be worried about the privacy concerns with ChatGPT being integrated into every search engine or personal assistant? I know those services are already saving everything it can about me but it just feels different. Is it though or am I just being a troglodyte?

I’d be more worried about AI if bitcoin didn’t exist.
My friend, please use a VPN, I literally do nothing without one. Proton is great and my #1, nord works perfectly well too, literally anything. My money goes to my VPN bill before my mortgage, before food, before drugs!
Not at all.
I'm hoping an open source alternative will be ready soon. The same way Stable Diffusion took on DALL-E.
Even private DuckDuckGo has AI answers. These can be turned off, however.
I use Mojeek for search. I don't see them going this route. Sometimes the results aren't the greatest but they've improved noticeably in the 1.5 years I've used them. I use Brave search as a backup search engine.
It's a tough spot to be. It's cool that we can get better soultions and answers to problems for almost nothing. The trade off is that it literally saves all information you give it.
I also want to be excited about it but am worried about the negative effects.
Every time you use voice commands on your phone, your phone is communicating with AI resources on a server somewhere. Now they're just linking it to a bigger AI.
