I always love it when people are enjoying a new song with an awesome background track and you’re the only one who knows the artist just lifted it from an old 80s song.

I was laughing about that the other day when my grandfather was was wearing a vest so old it was super trendy now.
Music, fashion, design, cinema are all very cyclical. They basically do an adoption curve for a “style” then the old becomes the new again once it’s been out of style long enough.
It’s the TikTok-ification of music. It’s got to be fast to meet those 7 second trends.
