yes, domains will be taken down but files / blobs are addressed by their sha256 hash which means they have the same ID across all servers. so when a server is taken down or a blob is removed from it you can easily go to another server and ask for the same blob
for example here is the same image hosted on multiple servers
And you can verify they are the exact same image because if you download them and run "sha256sum
