I have 20x more followers on Twitter compared to #Nostr and yet the engagement level is similar on the two. In other words nostr is 20x more signal. 📶
On Nostr I can also send and receive zaps. ⚡️

in the case of LN+, I could see each node runners profile having a field where you can enter your npub. This would automatically setup the Nip-05 verification on lightningnetwork.plus. Then node runners could communicate over nostr and have verification the node runner they are interacting with on LN+ is the same person they are interacting to over nostr
Using Twitter is like asking for permission to congregate with your social circle. Giving private overlords the power to control your speech, reach, and reputation.
Nostr is the opposite.
i second that. when you post something on twitter you always have to watch your back. there is always the threat of being censored or banned. this threat alone makes most people obedient and submissive
I like Nostr but it needs to evolve and persuade other people to use it, and become more intuitive.
This as it can become something like an echo chamber for Bitcoin ideas, and to grow it is essential to get opposing points of view.
Twitter is not even an option because you have to link your phone number to the account.
Oh yeah. I forgot to mention how cool it is that you can get verified (on my todos) and post long format notes without paying the $8/m. 🤩

The only thing useful about Twitter is going there to blow up establishment narratives
The reason I joined Twitter in the first place was to not allow them to have a safe space
