A small group like that sounds like you want to have them on 0xchat in a nip 29 group.

Forgot about oxchat
I'm becoming more and more impressed with it. It's rapidly becoming a viable telegram replacement.
Well, we are 7 and the grandparents. We already have a Simplex group, so chat is not really it.
You should bring that group over.
They could post updates as "moments" and use those same identities on 0xchat or other other clients.
I can't imagine needing simplex level privacy to plan a holiday meal. And gift wraps are pretty f****** private Even if it wasn't your relay.
Simplex stays as our messaging default.
I wanted to check out moments on 0xchat as I only tried it as a messenger but moments make the app crash on GrapheneOS anyway...
